BT has tripled the broadband speed for over 14,400 micro-businesses across Manchester and Birmingham. The announcement has been made this week that BT intends to triple the broadband speeds for nearly 5,900 micro-businesses in Manchester and 8,500 micro-businesses in Birmingham.
BT will launch a new business unit to serve the country’s smallest firms and start-ups. The new unit is launching in both cities and offering discounted full fibre for thousands of micro businesses, which typically have a handful of employees.

A micro- business is a business with no more than two employees and with more than half the new enterprises are sole proprietorships or microbusinesses this is a great boost to the region.
